Was talking to Pat Mullan last Sunday & he said he was going & Andy called me today to say that Pat Mullan would be attending in an official capacity so the event should get coverage in the Irish Vintage Scene or Retro classics.

Thanks again for organising a great day out James. The new location was a great success and it was nice to see such a huge turnout. Definitely the best Kadettfest yet! :-)

Well done to James and all.. great day and selection of cars.. and the hot dogs really hit the spot :-) ... Great to meet cars and faces behind the screen from the forum here... the only little disappointment was that got lost at the start of the run and missed out on it ended up heading for home after had drive as far as Ballycastle the wrong way.. After leaving the car park hit road works at the junction at the bottom of the street and did not know where the cars had went from there... Few of us stopped at a filling station to get our bearings.. One lad decided at the stage to go home while myself and another lad decided to follow our nose's and ended up been on the run but going in the opposite direction.. Was to big a distance to make up when we discovered the mistake... :-( .. So ended up on a wee run of my own.. from Killalla to Ballycastle and from there back to Crossmolina and back home via Ballina... Great to give the manta a run out and no issues..
What's for ya won't go by ya.... Unless it's an Opel :-)

Sorry to hear that Sean. It's something we're going to have to improve for next year as Ballina isn't the easiest of towns to negotiate when you don't know the area.
A road book of the route similar to what we used on the Sligo Run and Ted's Run would be an idea.
I saw your car there but didn't get to meet you unfortunately but I'm sure our paths will cross again later in the year! :-)
