The 8th Ted’s Opel Vauxhall Run will take place on Saturday August 8th 2015. This year we are returning to The Blarney Hotel & Golf Resort , Tower, Blarney, Co. Cork. (021 4384477) as our base. Accommodation is set at a special Group rate for B & B of €40pps or €60 single room, Holliday Lodges are also available. To avail of these prices please call the Hotel and quote "Opel 15" when booking. Early booking is advised.
Registration on Saturday morning from 9am and the fee per car is €20. Each car will receive a starter pack. The first Award of the day will be presented at 10am and the cars will depart at 10.15am.
The route will bring the participants through Ballincollig, and on to Bandon where we will be stopping at the Kevin O’Leary Opel Dealer. Here the Kevin O’Leary Perpetual Cup will be presented by the man himself to the owner of the “Best Opel”. We will continue from O’Leary’s to the Quality Hotel in Clonakilty for Lunch which is optional at a cost of €15 per person. As always there are an array of Awards and prizes of which some will be presented at the Lunch stop and also a raffle for numerous Spot prizes.
The second leg of the Run will take us on a costal journey towards Kinsale returning to the Hotel via Bishopstown and Carrigrohane. As always there will be Awards to be presented at various places along the route. There is always a great social night follows the Run in the Hotel bar.
This year we are again delighted to have the support of the Kevin O’Leary Group (Opel dealer) and Cartell.ie.
All Opel / Vauxhall / Bedford / GM vehicles are welcome regardless of age.
We hope to see you all on the weekend of the 8th August. You are all welcome to come out and see us even if you don’t have a vehicle.

Thanks Dermot. The Holiday Lodges are €160 per night & sleep 4 including breakfast served in the Hotel. Rooms are filling up so early booking is advised.

We will be having a Launch of the Run on Sunday next 5th July, 2pm - 4pm at the Blarney Hotel & Golf Resort if anyone wants to come along. Refreshments available. "HOPE" the Irish Dogs for the Disabled puppy that we sponsored last year will also be attending. All welcome.

Another Trophy has been added to the array. This I hope will be another annual Trophy. Final preparations are now being made, the hotel is fully booked out. Some fantastic Spot-prizes have been donated. Opel Ireland & Irish Vintage Scene / Retro Classics will be attending. Again we will have some photographers & Vantage Point Videos along the route. Ohh ya, the fine weather is also ordered !!
