Opel Vauxhall Club Ireland

Ballina, Co Mayo will once again be the meeting point for OVCI Kadettfest Meet & Run on the 10th April 2016.

This year to mark the arrival of the latest model Astra we will be seeking to have one of each model Kadett and Astra from 1937 to today for a family photo. as in the poster above.

We will be meeting from 10.00 in the morning at the Old Military Barracks Car Park in the town centre. This is the same venue as last year.

The plan is as follows.
10.00am – Meet in car park in Ballina.
Will hand out voting forms for drivers choice Best Kadett & Best overall as cars arrive.
12.30. Votes must be returned by this time to be counted. There will be a box for completed
forms located at my 92 Frontera.
13.00 Best Kadett and Overall choice as voted will be announced.
14.00 to 16.30ish. Go for a drive. Route to be decided yet.

I will have an Opel sign for auction at Kadettfest at midday. Pic below. There is a hairline crack on Lhs & neon does not work. All proceeds will go to Bone marrow for Lukemia trust.

Great idea and an even greater cause.

I already have one I bought from Germany 2-3 years ago and Neon was smashed. I converted mine to LED's and if you help or advice on doing it let me know.

Hotel Ballina is handiest option for parking.
