Sorry for the delay in getting back to this but I have allot on this week.

The Special Awards went to

The Perpetual Shield went to Declan Horan, Chevette HSR Replica
The Kevin O'Leary Opel Perpetual Cup for the Best Opel went to John Unkles, Manta B
The Cartell.ie Perpetual Cup for the Best Vauxhall went to Tommy Burke, Chevette HS
The Jackie Small Memorial Trophy went to Denis Murphy, Vauxhall Magnum Sports Hatch

The Spirit of the Run Award went to the Group Motors Rallying Team.

Great day was had by all, ran very smoothly, delighted to have Opel Ireland attend & provide some fantastic Spot Prizes. Plenty of photos being put up & there should be video footage coming soon also. The Lunch stop was on the beach as such but it also provided us with the only rain shower of the day.

Presentations were also made to Darren Murphy & Elaine O'Connor on their recent Engagement, (done in style Darren from what I hear)
Another to John & Anne Keating on their 30th Wedding Anniversary this week
& Another to our President Peter Ward and his wife Geraldine on their Golden Wedding Anniversary on the 31st Aug.

Overall an enjoyable event with a few minor breakdowns but nothing too serious I think and everyone got home safe. Saturday night concluded with a Sing song till the early hours of Sunday. A total of 66 cars attended & 10 of the cars continued to Crookstown on Sunday.

Roll on Aug 9th 2014 !!! and thank you to all who attended and made this year possible.
