We are pleased to announce that following on from some requests from people that we can now offer the convenience of becoming an Opel Vauxhall Club Ireland Member via PayPal.

To join via PayPal click on the link below
http://www.opelvauxhallclubireland.com/OVCIPaypal.htm

Note
Joining via PayPal will incur an extra cost for the convenience. PayPal charge a fee of "3.4% + €0.35" for processing each transaction.

After discussing at the Annual General Meeting on the 24th November 2012 that the Club are charged a fee for each PayPal transaction, it was agreed that to cover PayPal Fees the Opel Vauxhall Club Ireland have to pass this charge on to those wishing to join via PayPal.

Therefore a handling charge of €1.03 for €20 Individual Memberships and €1.37 for €30 Family Memberships will appear on checkout.

Example PayPal charge
For a Membership Fee of €20 the PayPal fees work out at €1.03 - made up of 3.4% of €20 = €0.68 + €0.35. The Club would only receive €18.97.

After discussing at the Annual General Meeting on the 23rd November 2013 that the fees charged to the Club for memberships through Paypal have changed slightly it was passed by the room that this should be passed on to those wishing to avail of the Paypal method of joining the Club. Therefore the handling charge of €1.07 for €20 Individual Memberships and €1.42 for €30 Family Memberships will appear on checkout. This is an increase of €0.04 for Individual and €0.05 for Family Memberships.

The Club were only receiving €19.96 for a membership fee of €21.03.
