I know it's very close to Ted's Run but we reckon it'd be nice to get a gang of Opel/Vauxhall's up to this to support it.

What would be even better would be to get the complete line up of Kadett's & Astra's there again to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Kadett.

Static Show on the 5th August @ the Radisson Hotel Rosses Point Road Sligo starts @ 1 P.M.

Run is on at 4 but I would not be interested in the run.

So who's on for a repeat of the Kadettfest line up.

I'll count myself in, maybe even get 3 there this time.

I'll probably only get 2 cars there, have no one to drive one of either the Astra or Kadett. No one to bring the Olympia either as they are on holiday until that day but will drive it myself.

I wouldn't worry about the Astra or Kadett. There should be no problem getting Kadett C's there. Darren Gill might bring his Kadett C out. I'll see if Ed can bring out the OPC so that'd cover the Astra H.
Astra F and G might be difficult though.

Kevin Friel said he'd bring down the Kadett A.
James will trailer the '37.
Kadett C's, D's and E's won't be a problem.
The chap with the Astra F GSI who came to Kadettfest was from Sligo I think. The Astra G GSI turbo was local too so that shouldn't be a problem. The Astra H and J's are the only ones left. I'll see if Ed Turner can go. If not maybe Nuala could bring her Astra?
I think there'll be no shortage of Manta's and Ascona's there either.

I'm not so sure about bringing newer stuff to this lads. It's billed as a Ford only show and I'm having second thoughts about even taking the Kadett. I'm trying to find out if there is a non Ford section so I'll keep ye posted.
